the LGB brand is a huge part of the TQ PR machine. if LGB ppl were to discontinue their support for gender ideology in a significant way that would be devastating for the homophobic mens rights activists and quack medical providers pushing this fraud. how many LGB people would need to vocally voice opposition? who knows. but since this doesnt look likely to occur soon, in the US we are dependent on the republicans. every gender ideology stat and claim crumbles upon examination. no, the "care" doesnt help kids. no, kids with psych issues or have been groomed by adults with psych issues arent magical "trans" ppl. theres a reason why gender clinics worldwide burn their medical records or mysteriously lose them the minute their victims have paid their bill. its a temporary placebo at best. amsterdam says those on gender meds long term die early 2x average and commit suicide 20X average. they dont start out that way tho. after a couple year on these meds there a crisis that wouldnt have occured otherwise.

I'm a conservative Christian, and I very respectfully disagree with some of your assessment, in a way I hope you will find encouraging. I think you do yourself and the gay community a disservice if you perceive that all Christians or right-wingers are gay-hating extremists. I have been intensely involved opposing the predation against children which you very rightly call conversion therapy, and I have noticed that many in the gay community are much more viciously negative toward trans-people than I ever would be. In which case, people like me are actually more moderate than some secular gays. For my part, and contrary to your assumption, I am not gleefully rubbing my hands together hoping gays get their comeuppance -- I am instead horrified that the backlash you describe could and will unfold and it is my duty to oppose that any way I can. Douglas Murray (you neglected Douglas in your British list) is a stalwart leader against the queer usurpation of the gay rights movement, and he warned of a backlash in The Madness of Crowds. Andy Ngo has also been forceful here in the US, and rightly points out the threat to the gay community -- that the trans-movement's shameless focus on minors will cause society to link gays with pedophilia, and reverse efforts by gays to simply achieve normalcy. But if you study this woke ideology (not limited to trans), you will see that the quasi-Marxist mission to deconstruct everything includes a desire to destroy homosexual legitimacy, what is called "homonormativity." By this view, gays who have arrived at acceptance and success in our culture are by virtue thereof an evolving oppressor class who must be dismantled. To the far left homonormativity is an evil; to most mainstream gays this was always the goal. James Lindsay has written about this. So don't write off all the Christians -- I don't have to agree morally with your lifestyle or orientation to fervently defend your humanity and liberties, even to the point of being allies.
